PCR Test at Public Hospitals in Cappadocia region
There is only one public hospital in the Cappadocia region, the Nevsehir State Hospital (Tel: 0384 228 50 50, Address: 15 Temmuz Mahallesi 148. Sokak No:1 Merkez, Nevsehir). It is located about 12,5 km. from Goreme. Looks like far away.
To have a free PCR test there, you must be symptomatic or had a direct contact with the person having Coronavirus.
If you don’t meet this criteria, than you will need to pay for your test. We won’t recommend this option as the state hospital is far away from Cappadocia tourist zones, you might wait in the possible long queues with locals, and might have language problem.
Pricing is around 250 TL (about €25), and you will need to pay in cash. And your test result will be Turkish print copy (no English report) and will get the results within 24 hours. Seems like not very ideal for tourists.
